School Profile

I’ve been an outstanding teacher for the last 4 years. I get great results from my students and am very happy with the quality and type of independent, thoughtful work I help our students to make. I’ve been working as a Lead Practitioner coaching teachers to Good & Outstanding, and I’ve been part of the team of staff who plan and lead whole initiatives in T&L for the last two years.


In order of preference:

  1. Be part of an on-going series of input for beginning teachers
  2. Undertake courses in coaching and mentoring in your subject
  3. Coach aspiring staff
  4. Work in ‘Learning trios’ – peer observation in 3’s
  5. Help steer the direction of CPD in the school Have your assessment photographed for an on-going library of dialogic marking
  6. Contribute to carousel style insets for groups of teachers showing outstanding practice both in school & outside of school
  7. Help steer the direction of T&L within the school
  8. Take a lead in a teach Meet
  9. Be filmed as part of on-going work into BFL and AFL

Autumn 2014

  • Organised & planed whole school Inset on questioning
  • Led an hour’s session on questioning- Active Questioning
  • Ran 2 Teach Meet sessions: Questioning & BFL
  • Led twilight on Dialogic marking
  • Led twilight inset on BFL & positive behaviour management.
  • Observed, coached & mentored staff to Good and outstanding
