Students and teachers met the challenge of the new tougher exams and this year we are celebrating improved outcomes in Music, Drama, French and Design & Technology. There were excellent results in Music with 100% 4+, French with 92% 4+ as well as Biology and Chemistry both 82% achieving 4+. 100% of the students entered for NCFE Award for Health & Fitness passed; an impressive 80% were awarded at least a Merit Award.
Excellent results were achieved by Race Hassan, Mazin Ali, Ayse Kelangin, Amir Hussain, Kimberly Onen, Brandom Lingham, Max Conway Goutines, Mohammed Hussain, Nasra Abubakar, Sudeysi Ahmed, David Tabala. We are particularly proud of the achievement of Race Hassan who was awarded eight 9-7 grades and Mazin Ali who achieved four grade 9’s in Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Computer Science in a set of seven 9-7 grades. Other successes include Amir Hussain and Kimberley Onen who both secured six 9-7 grades.
We were especially pleased with the progress of Caridad Penafiel Veloz , Mustafa Abdullah, Mahed Shakur, Mazin Ali, Kimberley Onen, Mohammed Ali and Nasra Abubakar who all achieved more highly than their achievement at Primary School would have predicted.
