Staff – Peer exchange & development

At Arts & Media School we believe that the best form of professional development for teachers is teacher led.  We recognise and value the great teachers we have here at Arts & Media School. We understand the best way to develop the quality of teaching and learning and further strengthen our learning community, is by finding, recognising and sharing what our teachers do well.

We have a Peer Exchange and Development team (PED), formed of outstanding teachers from different subjects and stages in their careers, who have generously given up their time to work on staff development in different ways; delivering staff INSET, within learning trios and working as a teacher coach since Sept.

We have 3 main pathways for CPD:

Pathway 1 – Aspiring Leaders, Lead Practitioner, Outstanding Teacher, UPS 3

Pathway 2 – Aspiring middle leaders, From good to outstanding, New to the school, UPS 1/2

Pathway 3 – NTI’s, NQT’s
