We know from experience that Year 11 is a very challenging time for some students. They have to plan their revision, meet deadlines, produce work to a high quality and prepare for college interviews. Because we want your child to achieve their full potential we have a support programme, called ‘AIM’,for students that we believe can improve their grades and ensure they successfully go onto further education. Our teachers give the gift of their time to deliver additional sessions to support our students to achieve their best. Each year our students give us feedback when they finish their KS4 courses and unanimously the students are grateful for the AIM sessions which had a positive impact on their results.
We begin in the Autumn Term with compulsory AIM for all students and this is indicated on their school timetable. After the Autumn Term we will review the needs of the students and may invite selected students to AIM for smaller group intervention whether it be support or extension.

“ The greatest danger for most of us is NOT that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it.”
