Piano: Gryte Navardauskaite
Gryte Navardauskaite is a classically trained pianist experienced in teaching piano and music theory and also accompanying instrumentalists, singers and ballet classes.
Our students are talented and enthusiastic musicians and, as a result, I would therefore expect lots of them to be interested in learning the piano with Gryte.
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer free instrumental lessons to students in KS3 and, as a result, there will be a cost for lessons for students wishing to learn the piano.
Piano lessons will be charged as follows:
One 30 minute individual lesson per week @ £13.50.
The termly cost for these lessons will be approximately £148.50
One 30 minute paired lesson per week @ £6.75. This option allows students the opportunity to choose to attend in pairs and, as a result, reduce the cost.
The termly cost for these lessons will be approximately £74.25
Students who are interested in learning the piano with Gryte and would like to know more should speak to Fussi or myself as soon as possible.
Should you have any further questions or, if you would like any additional information, please do contact me at the school at any time.
Piano: Gintaras Pamakstys
Gintaras Pamakstys is a classically trained pianist from Vilnius, Lithuania.
In 2004 Gintaras was awarded a scholarship by the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, to study under Professor Joan Havill, whose guidance helped him achieve Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in solo piano performance.
After graduating as a soloist, Gintaras continued his studies as a piano accompanist on the Guildhall Artist Programme with Prof. Caroline Palmer and Prof. Pamela Lidiard, which he completed with distinction and was subsequently invited by the Guildhall School of Music and Drama to work as a professional piano accompanist.
Ever since Gintaras arrived in London, he took interest in piano teaching. It is a notable fact that Arts and Media School Islington was the first school where Gintaras was able to explore his passion for teaching on a regular basis and meet pupils with various and absolutely unique personalities, learning styles and musical tastes.
As a result, Gintaras is able to offer personally tailored piano tuition that is based on many years of experience and is suited to the student’s individual abilities, preferences and musical goals.
