Fifteen students from Year 9 went to visit the Arsenal stadium to get an insight into the ‘Life of an Arsenal staff member’.
Students went on a tour of the grounds followed by a presentation about how the grass is grown and maintained, as this is an important feature of the stadium, and the value of Science in Sports and playing fields. They also learned about how to finance a stadium and job opportunities.
“We had the opportunity to see the stadium from the point of view as a staff member and a fan and can now appreciate how much effort goes into producing a great pitch of grass!”
