Dear Parent/carer
In response to high demand and parent/carer feedback, we are pleased to inform you that year 7 students will be taking part in an exciting AMSI Clubs pilot program from January 2022. Students in their respective tutor groups will participate in a range of activities and the various clubs will take place on Mondays from 14:15 onwards – this will be a part of the formal school day and not by way of an extension to it – each session will run for 1 hour meaning the school day will end at 3.15.
Each club will run for 5 weeks and students will have the opportunity to experience four unique creative learning club activities between Jan and July 2022. Clubs include: Arsenal Leadership, Chess, Yoga, Jazz Dance and Samba Drumming. *The ‘Leadership’ course is 2 hours in duration, with the second hour being an Arsenal FC football coaching session (see provisional timetable attached for tutor group participation). Clubs and timings are subject to change.
The pilot will run on Mondays only commencing on Monday 10th January 2022 and concluding on Monday July 11th 2022 (see calendar).
All students will take part in this pilot program unless parents/carers expressly withdraw their child from it by completing the Google Opt-Out Form.
