Dear Parents, Carers and Students,
When we wrote to you earlier in the week to inform you about moving the Year 8 bubble to remote learning, we said that we would keep you updated on the situation as it evolved. Unfortunately, we have had several other positive cases of COVID-19 confirmed through PCR tests, and are still awaiting the results of other students that are displaying symptoms.
We have therefore taken the decision that the Year 8 bubble will return to school on Monday 12 July. This is to ensure that all positive cases of COVID-19 and their close contacts in the year group have ended their periods of isolation.
Some students that are close contacts will of course end their isolation period before this period, which means that they can interact outside of school as they normally would.
We thank you for your ongoing support in keeping AMSI a safe place for our whole community and look forward to welcoming students back on the 12th July.
