The art department took our Year 10 art students to the Horniman Museum in Forest Hill.
Like Arts & Media School, The Horniman Museum is a supporter of the Artsmark awarded by Arts Council England. They provided a fantastic learning session in their education centre using items from the museum. The students were given museum objects to handle, draw and photograph to explore shape and texture.
The students had a wonderful time taking part in the workshop which was of great benefit to their GCSE coursework. It also provided a great environment outside of the classroom for the students to work in.
